Welcome to Whole and Honeyed! I created this blog to share my passion for healthy living and the importance of good food in my life. 

I became a vegetarian at age five due to my love for animals, and growing up, I was lucky enough to be influenced by a family who values wholesome ingredients and celebrates delicious and fresh food made in the kitchen. Although I once chose to only eat grilled cheese sandwiches and quesadillas, I quickly learned that this way of eating fed my body, but did not fuel my body. Now, I use the knowledge I had in my back pocket all along to keep myself nourished and eat really well while doing so. 

I find immense joy in cooking and most importantly, eating. Through my tasty, wholesome, and mostly vegetarian recipes, I'm here to prove that healthy food can actually taste pretty dang good!
